On this celebratory occasion, marking the 40th year since my New York recital debut, I will perform works of J.S. Bach and Miklós Rózsa (his formidable Piano Sonata of 1948), and the United States première of the jazz-infused Preludes by the brilliant Hungarian composer Péter Wolf, from his two books of the Wolf-Temperiertes Klavier.

I will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 1 in C major, with my own cadenza, under the baton of one of my favorite conductors, Rossen Milanov.
I will play a solo recital with commentary.
I will play Camille Saint-Säens’ dazzling Second Piano Concerto, under the baton of Maurice Cohn.
I will give a master class for the talented young musicians of this prestigious arts institution and school.
I will play two performances of an all-Latinx piano recital, on February 17 (evening) and February 18 (afternoon), with works by Maniel de Falla, Joaquín Nin-Culmell, Joaquín Turina, Federico Longás, and my own suite “Escenas callejeras del Bronx.”
I will play the Ravel Concerto in G major, under the baton of legendary conductor Marc David.
I will perform a recital on the “World of the Piano” concert series, and give a master class the following Monday morning.
